Hinterland blocks aren't flat. Our gear is set up for the slopes that stop a standard tractor or slasher, so the awkward gully at the back of your property gets done with everything else.

Selective, not scorched earth

We clear the scrub and leave the trees worth keeping. Undergrowth, weed species and fuel load go, mature natives stay standing, and the block still looks like the block you bought.

The mulch works for you

Everything we cut stays on site as a mulch layer. It holds moisture, slows weed regrowth and protects bare soil from washing away in the first big hinterland downpour — instead of costing you tip fees.

Where we work

Gold Coast hinterland
and out from there

We're based in the hinterland, so Mudgeeraba, Tallai, Bonogin and Worongary are our backyard — most weeks the machine is somewhere in that pocket. From there we run out to Mount Nathan, Advancetown, Canungra, Tamborine and across the Scenic Rim, where the acreage gets bigger and the country gets steeper.

We also head south over the border for work through the Tweed and Byron hinterland in Northern NSW. If you're on acreage anywhere in South East Queensland and you're not sure we'll come out, ring Brandon and ask — the answer is usually yes.

Questions we get on every quote

How much does forestry mulching cost?
Price comes down to four things: how big the area is, how thick the vegetation is, how steep the ground is, and how easily the machine can get in. Because the mulch stays on site, there are no tip or dump fees in your number. Brandon quotes on site, free, before you commit.
Do I need council approval to clear my block?
Vegetation rules vary by council and by what's growing on your property, and some areas have protections. We walk the block with you and advise on what's permitted, then work within those limits. Where approval is needed, that's confirmed with your council before any machine starts.
What happens to everything you cut?
It stays on your land as mulch. Forestry mulching turns scrub and small timber into an even ground cover in one pass, so there are no burn piles to manage and nothing to cart away. That cover holds moisture, slows weed regrowth and protects bare soil from erosion.
Can you work on steep or difficult ground?
Yes. Our gear is set up for the slopes and gullies that stop a standard slasher or tractor, which is why we work so much of the Gold Coast hinterland and Scenic Rim. If access is tight or the fall is severe, Brandon will tell you honestly at the on-site quote.
How long will my job take?
It depends on the area, how dense the growth is, the slope and the access. Rather than guess, we look at the block first and give you a realistic timeframe with the quote, so you know what to expect before anything starts and can plan around it.
